P90s nice ideaUntil parts prove themselves as deficient, the only thing I see are really in the pickguard for preference.
1. Strat Single coils replaced with P90's, might even use Epiphone/Gibson P90's.
2, Replace the 2 switches Off/On style with a single Epiphone/Gibson toggle or 3 way style Telecaster switch.
3. Replace plastic control area with a chromed steel Squier/Fender Mustang plate.

I think of mine as a "rustic" style guitar, and the lack of refinement now makes perfect sense.Yes, there are small ways that I can see that it did not have the careful craftsmanship
Now nicknamed "chubby".This is one Fat Body!
WAH!!!!!!!!! I had one w/o the Bigsby. I gave my Grand Daughter a pick of 7 Guitars and she took my LP Special with P-90's. Must like Red too! I put a one-piece Bound and Blocked Mahogany Neck in it. Guy I bought it from (Loaded Body only) received it with some "Neck Dive" as in being tossed by Shipper. Looked like a few of Eddies! He asked if I wanted to buy Neck! "Nah"! I got busy and now my Avitar is my P-90 Guitar!
The P90's I have are the Epiphone ceramics. The Neck DCR measures, Neck 8.2K & Bridge is 9.2K. The Telecasters that I have are Monoprice ceramic Tele single coils, they're pretty close Neck is 7.2K & Bridge 6.6K but reversed for DCR measure. I string the Epiphone with Gibson Les Paul 10-46 Pure Nickel Wound strings with the silk at the ball ends. They were on sale and I grabbed them for $ 6.99 each, the last 3 packages the music store had.WAH!!!!!!!!! I had one w/o the Bigsby.
