Is this a classic vibe series telecaster?

Someone locally selling a 2020 shell pink Squier Fender telecaster. It doesn't seem to be an affinity or a bullet because it's got a plastic binding in the truss rod hole. A serial number says that it is a special run, made in China. Any ideas what model this is? Thanks!

Also, seller tells me that that pick guard has a fade, it's not just the lighting. Don't know if that is stock.

It looks white to me. Not a classic vibe either, possibly an affinity.

This looks like an Affinity... There have been cases before where Affinity teles had a plastic truss hole cover.

Look at this around the 13:00 mark.

Thanks, I've asked the seller for more information, but you guys may be right that it's white and not pink. The only difference I'm noticing is that this one has a maple fret board. I'm just wondering if it's some special run from guitar center or someone else.

A full picture of the entire headstock would be helpful...

    Like other's, I'm leaning Affinity.

I was actually able to locate the model on the Fender serial number search. I didn't realize you could use that for Squiers as well. Turns out it is an Affinity. Thanks everyone for your help!

Just as I told y ou in a previous thread that the Bullets no longer say Bullet, the Affinity no longer says Affinity.....

It takes a ton of memorization about all kinds of tiny minute details to learn to identify all the models, unfortunately.

There was one Affinity awhile back that I wish I could find again.
It came in the "Stop dreaming, start playing" Tele pack.
Nearly full thickness body, string through, 22 frets, plastic truss rod plug, skunk stripe.
VERY much like a Squier standard Tele

And is it actually pink? I want to know because if it is I need an eye test.

That has to be the lightest shade of Shell Pink I've ever seen.

The lack of tinted lacquer on the neck is a dead giveaway that it isn't a Classic Vibe (they really go nuts with it). As stated by Guitarmageddon, the Bullet and Affinity models no longer have their respective monikers displayed on the headstock. Squiers are pretty tricky to identify by sight, but thankfully, as you found out, Fender also provides S/N information for Squiers.

I have an FSR LPB Bullet Telecaster, and it is one of my favorite guitars I've owned. What are they asking for it?

We all know CVs aren't built like vintage instruments, but they're made to look as such. With this in mind, whenever you wonder whether a Squier is a CV or not, just play a quick game of "does this look vintage" - modern, Gotoh style tuners [with no prior holes for vintage-style, split shaft tuners]? Individual, solid block saddles? Make your guess. ;)

I had one. 2012 Sunburst Affinity. String through design. 22 frets. 41.8 mm nut.
