I have several guitars .. my favorite is the ovation viper, probably because i am a big Glenn Campbell fan. I bought a small guitar at a local shop ..just take a look .. nice for practice.. One thing you will also notice ...i could use some photography lessons.
Welcome! That black Squier should clean up nicely. Don’t think I’ve ever seen that model before. Good luck with it and enjoy the site.
I have been looking at squiers for quite a while trying to decide if i want one and if yes which model ...when i saw that one the question was moot ... had to get it...but still hoping to get a CV... Choices are very slim here.
Welcome, I just fixed up an old floyd rose guitar in similar condition to yours so if you have any questions i might be able to help
Hi and welcome to Squier-Talk. Nice pictures. I like the Ovation. My first 'real' guitar was an Ovation Balladeer. At the time, I didn't know the difference but it was American made, simply because in retrospect, the time I bought it, mid-70's. Great guitar, full depth bowl. Regretfully it was stolen out of my apartment when I was in College. A later model Celebrity was not near the guitar my first was. Enjoy those guitars. Ask all the questions you like. A thorough search of the site will turn up many things to learn about Squier's and guitars in general. We are by no means restricted to just Squier's.
The ovation is a special one to me ... It will be with me until i leave this earth. Over my 74 years i have owned many guitars including steel guitars. Another favorite was a Vox made on the order of Chet Atkins Gretch...i don't recall the model name right now. That one is still in the family. I will take your advice ... Thank you .
