Yes, amazing. And in truth with a vibrancy and a subtlety beyond the computer screen's ability to fully capture.
Add to that that no year (or even day!) is the same, it is one of life here's true joys and wonders.
I've posted pics of our garden's harvest. That is well and good, delicious and nutritious too. I have not mentioned failures and efforts without reaping.
Here is our watermelon crop. Quarter is there for size representation. I did not have a dime. I wanted to give a dime (damn).

That image to me has a power all its own. Knowing the how, what, where and why of it was equally superfluous and unnecessary. -And I know of no higher praise for a photograph.
