Jigs, silver with black head tubes. I would have stayed out but the wind was terrible and not where you want to be with a kayak.
Against the law to use live minnows on Brownlee reservoir and Lake Owyhee...

I am having a lot of fun exploring the imaging possibilities with that inexpensive digital microscope! -What can be photographed -- or as here, videographed. How. All truly a world always present, but to my eyes anew.

I added, and then modified, a firmer stand for the unit. This one:

And am slowly learning how to take images of various types, and then to modify them.

Today I made my first video. That of a dying wasp gingerly placed under the 'scope. (His stinging reflex was still very much active!)

Nothing fancy, but hopefully a precursor to yet better videos of a similar sort.

It rained last night and it is warm but the trees behind my trees look iced over with the sun angle

    "Morning Mist"

    Morning Mist.jpg

For those into images and how they are made... Nothing in this image was faked or even exaggerated. But I had to develop a new technique (so excited!!!) to realize it.

It was taken with an older iPhone using several calculated exposures.

Who knows where this technique may lead me in the time ahead? What growth and possibilities it will allow?

I do love this stuff!!! :)
