Uh huh. Those flyboys and flygirls have serious skills. I have had numerous CH-47 Chinooks and UH-60 Blackhawks hover a few feet above my brain bucket while I grounded or connected slings. It was a unique, "get me the heck out of here" experience every time.
Yes! It is Spring! I looked about yesterday, where our flowers first appear. There was nothing. Then today, this! "First of the Year!" -don
One of the regulars here used to be a crew chief back in the day and as far as He was concerned his CH-47 was only on loan to the pilot whenever they flew. This was for him.
If I named it it would be "The smallest things can make me smile". Not often 'it it' is used, similar to had had. This is lettuce I planted six days ago. Have a greater day ST!
Hi Triple Jim, the flower is a Crocus and the picture is part of one of several crocus beds in my local park.
Another shot from this morning, early. Just as the sun was peeking above Mount Monadnock. I love the quiet peace of those early hours. The espresso machine heating and hissing. The birds welcoming the day. And yes, the sun streaming in. -don
