My Image of the Day - January 22, 2021
Some days my 'art' truly reflects my state of mind. This is one such.
That it is "winter" is uncertain. A few things are clear. The rest not. And what will the day bring? And tomorrow?
And what of this? Cubism?
Optical illusion? Cover the horizon line & see...

I thought I would post one of mine. My father in law, Bill, passed away Sunday after a battle with COVID. I have been sorting through all the various folders for pics to use in a tribute at the funeral home and found this one. I think it is one of the best I have ever taken--the look of trust on baby Alison's face, the pensive look on Bill's. I also like the deep shadows from the natural light. This photo shows the gentleness that comes from strength, and what it truly means to be a man--masculine yes, but protective and loving all the same. I hope you like it.
So sorry, man.
Yes, beautiful pic.
So sorry for the loss of your Father-in-law @SubSailer671 . Beautiful baby and picture. Thanks for sharing..
Looks like a beautiful morning. I can dig some snow as long as I don't have to shovel it.
That big strange looking thing on the left does my shoveling...
Another 'out the sickroom window' shot...
Moon setting and sun rising, pics taken seconds apart.
Then a few minutes later., Mother Nature coming to life it all her glory.
I live just outside Chicago. Fortunate enough to have some pretty nice habitat not far,
