I'm sure they're not hurting for any business but if you was to give any advice or suggestions to Squier what would it be? I would tell them to put out a few relic pieces, they'll sell like hot cakes.
I would have told them to put out metal guitars with active pups ... but they already did that with the Contemporary Line, and it's not selling. Wider necks would do the trick !!!
COLORS!!!!!!! We need more colors. The black and red and sunburst are all nice, but come on, we need some variety. I will say, they have put out some cooler colors lately. But since I deal with mostly the used market, there is not much for me to choose from.
True dat. Definitely offer some specialized colors. Imagine Toyota selling only 4 colors of cars, and the majority of them will be black ??? BTW, white NC's are going for double the price of black NC's. It's off the freakin' hook.
Dump the Affinity line or give it a 42mm nut. Better color choices on their high end guitars. Finally...BANJOS!
Bring back the Tom Delonge style. Full thickness, one humbucker, one volume, 21 frets. String through body hardtail.
More colors would drive up production costs and increase unsold inventory. It would make Squiers more expensive which is what they don't want. They're pretty smart with the line starting off at barely over a hundred bucks and then by the time you get to the top of the line, you're just about at a MIM Strat.
