A Cv Tele in a solid color with a maple neck. I’m thinking fiesta red, Lake Placid Blue , or maybe even Olympic White or black. Color options would be awesome. Or how bout a double bound option too? That would outsell Fender lol

Yes, I agree. I've been looking for one to try a maple fingerboard and those options would be nice. There's the Sweetwater exclusive Sapphire Blue, but you can see the grain in that one. I like it, but I'm looking for one with classical single coil configuration and that one is HH.

I think I saw a black one once on Reverb, but I don't recall if the fingerboard was RW or maple.

I would love to see a Squier Classic Vibe (Tele, Strat, Jag, whatever is cool) w/ a 7.25" radius neck

  5. Some nice ideas here. What Squier don't make ... I will. ;)
I'm working on a QM top Strat with a CV50's one piece maple neck. Just waitin' on parts.
    Cheers, Barrie.

I wish they'd make a SS Tele with a Strat bridge/vibrato, 'cause I can't afford a Tele Plus from the 90s (and they had a HB at the bridge), and I think I already told the story of why I won't buy the SX one that Rondo has.
I also wish that Epiphone would make a non-reverse Firebird with minis and a vibrola, 'cause I can't afford a Gibson one.

That wouldn't make sense, because it's a Classic Vibe 50s, meaning options of colors/finishes that were available in the 1950s and that Fender actually used on Telecasters then......

These are supposed to look like the real vintage pieces.....

That's true, but they deviate when they feel like it. After all, there's a Fiesta Red CV 50s Strat, and there are Vintera 50s Teles and Strats in colors like Surf Green and Daphne Blue.

I wish Squier would make a new run of standards, with small headstock and 2 point trems, in some new colors that haven't been driven into the ground. How bout bringing back Hot Rod Red, Shell Pink, Ice Blue Metallic, Capri Orange (which, yeah..is on the affinity), Mystic Blue and other forgotten Fender colors of yesteryear.

It don’t have to be a “50’s” it could be a 60s or 70s. Just something with some color.

  12. @MrYeats don't you have the lions share of Starcasters already? :D

  13. They do the odd limited FSR's making them a sought after item in some circles (like here maybe).

Well, if it was a 60s it would have a rosewood fretboard, and in the 70s they didnt have the colors you mentioned either....so to me it makes sense, I dunno....sorry

They seem to do it more for the European and Asian Markets, and leave us here in N. America out in the cold, like the Yellow Affinity Strat that you can get everywhere but here! I've wanted a Yellow Strat ever since I saw a Yellow Strat Plus back in the 80s!

I would like a Bullet Mustang with single-coil pickups.
I would like a Bullet Telecaster with a humbucker in the neck position.
I would like a Bullet Stratocaster with lipstick pickups.
And in a choice of delicious fun colors as well.
