Delayed response here (sorry, just saw this post!)-- I have to say, this is such an excellent album, though. The live performances here are excellent. Love their earlier stuff, too-- "As Safe as Yesterday" and "Town and Country" both have some great songs and great singing and guitar playing, though some of the recording quality is a little weak-- unlike the Fillmore recordings... which somehow always seem to be better than most artists' original studio recordings)

One of my favs as well-- there's also a reissue of this that includes the complete sets from all four shows, similar to the Hendrix "Band of Gypsys" reissue.One of my fave ,"Live" albums ever
Steve Marriott's voice and Frampton's guitar playing and the songs are superb. In fact the whole band rocked like hell with Gerry Shirley and Greg Ridley powerhouse Drums and Bass

I'm old enough that I saw that performance live on UK BBC TV before even video recorders were invented!!!
In our teens we used to wait every week for the BBC music program ,"The Old Grey Whistle Test" . When we heard the theme music it sent shivers down our spines as we knew something good was coming

Get Down has to be one of the songs I have both the fondest and the most frustrating memories of my teens! I was quite late to the party, but I loved GTA San Andreas, it being one of the OST songs. It also played inside the stadium of the very first race challenge.
Thing here is, one of my hobbies at the time was game modding, as in, developing fan-made, downloadable free content for existing games. I was part of an active community for a 20 something year-old game called Midtown Madness 2, whose developing studio would be bought by Rockstar, the developer of GTA, and its engine - the core program that makes everything in-game function - would serve as base for the following GTA 3D titles.
I had embarked on converting that one stadium race - the map itself, the playable cars, etc. - from GTA SA to MM2, a multiple year endeavor. Through some trickery, given MM2 didn't allow custom music to be played in-game, I manage to have the infamous Humble Pie track playing and would then listen to it on loop, in all its low fidelity glory (it would play out of invisible boxes, both the trick to make that function as well as to make it appear as coming out of indoor speakers as in the original game, then the audio file had to be of low quality in order to be compatible with the game, and on top of that, has crowd cheering samples laid on top) for hours as I'd Beta test it. Fun times!
This was soon before my pc at the time crapped out and subsequently losing interest in the project, only a couple of years later dedicating myself to complete it. It's been several years since you can enjoy it for free counting you snag the game somehow, but here's a beta version clip - both the failing GPU as well as the poorly optimised track caused some low FPS, the final version does run smoothly, but still sounds just like this:
