It is not whether I like or dislike FA guitars, it's just that my guitar world is a tree, the trunk is the guitar, and the two first main branches are Gibson and Fender....The further up the tree you go the smaller branches come out. On the Gibson side there is Epiphone, Maestro, Epoch, and Kalamazoo. On the Fender side is Squier and Starcaster. I just don't want to branch out from there although there are the few offshoots I pick up like my Washburn bass and Jasmine acoustic by Takamine.
Got in touch with the seller. We agreed on $50. I offered $40. I'll meet him on Saturday on my way back to NYC. I love guitar vacations.
Going to have to take a good long look at my collection when I get home and decide what I want to keep.
I know having a large amount of guitars is fun but you shouldn't consider shipping out family members to make space.
Exactly! They're a hot mess. I stand by my assertion that they're just fun, cheap guitars that are totally playable.
those tele style FA's are like a cross over from a snakehead to a tele - all FA's are pretty fun and a serious bang for the buck !
I got mine from a friend. Every time I would visit I would grab it even though he had a selection of other guitars So I had to get it
