This is my current arsenal minus several stringed projects that I might get to eventually.
I use an external drive and flash drive (as backup) with a folder for each guitar. Specs, detailed pictures, upgrades, price payed, MSRP, current market value, it is for me but also for my wife and/or adult children in the event I am no longer here and they have ownership of my equipment. I have bought equipment from widows who have no idea what they have or have a massive sentimental attachment and therefore unrealistic price for their sentimental attachment, understandable but no deal. This is of course also for insurance purposes in case of theft or other circumstance.
That sg and the burny. Nice
Why so many strats with tele necks?
What a satisfying picture to look at. Dayumn.
Btw, is that Dakota Red strat or?
Nice Ric 12 as well. Didn't know they made that body style in a semi-hollow.
Yup, thats one of the first things I've added to my database. Pictures of not just a full front/rear views, but plenty of close up views of the various parts of the instrument in the same specific manner for standardized record keeping.
Me too, I have tons of extra files and records, including extra pictures, research data, and notes, all kept in separate folders on my storage with backup copies on the cloud and my media server PC. Annually I burn those data to a DVD-ROM disk and keep those in a separate physical location.
I have around 30 , including 4 bass guitars , too lazy to take more pics
Here are some of them , more in storage

LOL, I know the feeling. Once the herd gets to some score or more, it can be a humbug to be lugging them outside for updated photos!
I have almost 60, walking back n forth with 6-10 pounds (or even 12-20# if yer holding 2) thirty times certainly can be exhausting and time consuming, LOL!*
(Especially since I also tend to do maint work on each [clean/wipe off dust n smudge, tuneup and adjust setting] at same time.)
*and that's NOT factoring in the weight of the hard shell case each is often in!
As most of you already know, the black one is the new kid on the block...
So, a total of 5 right now:
One Fender and two Squier Strats, along with two Epi P90s.
I need to save your (and a few other) pics - just in case the Missus ask me silly questions.....
Damn, and I thought my 4 was excessive
LOL, by now methinks ye now know, there's a lot of guitar herders here.
I own 60 Something guitars. I'm serious. And i owe it all to this forum for giving me GAS. One day I will take a family photo. It's just a chore at this time to do so.
Glad you said "herders" instead of hoarders. I may have been offended. I realize my flock needs me and I am a good shepherd.
