Wow!!! Those are beautiful! Mrs. Twostrats is a crafter/artist as well, I will have to show her this.

That is fantastic. I really like the flow of the lines, the colours and colour transitions, and her use of the rule of thirds. Like, like, like.

Those are very nice. The blue JM really catches me. Did the creator intend for the viewer to subliminally see one guitar, or two, I wonder?

I love schematic artwork, though I have none myself.

I'm enjoying seeing the wide range of 'art' objects with a guitar theme.

For myself, perhaps oddly, my 'art' and 'music' only occasionally meet, at least thematically. But in another sense they do, but maybe invisibly -- unnoticed -- to many who see my work.

My followed and written about, and now ongoing for about seven years, photo project "My Image of the Day" only very rarely has guitars as a theme. (Jan's piano has, I think, been the subject more often). But as I tell commentators I have long seen my "photographs" as being only such as a starting point. More accurately they are images created with light instead of paint as their medium. And a good deal of even my most otherwise pedantic guitar images posted here have received some such attention.

Does that make them 'guitar art'?

Here, for instance, was a photo of my VM Jazzmaster recently posted on the 'pretty guitars' thread...

Was I 'lucky' in the warm light seen there?

No. It was a look that I wished to have there and so created it in the after camera stage.

Realism was not my goal. (The headstock throws a deep shadow but is not itself brightly illuminated.) Feel was. As is so with most all of my shared images.

Other times I do not look for realism at all. Such as here in these 'studies' of my/our music rooms. One surreal in the glow of the early morning light, the other surreal in its entirety.

    Fun stuff altogether!

    Keep 'em coming friends! :)

Well it does have a guitar in it! :)

There are places that repeatedly get my attention, often after my seeing 'new' light or via circumstance coming to see it from a different perspective. Others -- even those that contain objects of interest such as lots of guitars -- that don't.

Jan's Piano Room is the former.

I was up in the library loft returning the Jaguar to its place after photographing it as my 'pretty guitar' contribution for today, when I looked down from the spiral staircase landing and saw this...

Yup! Grabbed my eye with an immediate photographic "treatment' in mind.

Not necessarily guitar, but musically themed nonetheless. I enjoy the vitality of this. D4472C84-8BAF-4DF2-BB96-424159ED3FC1.png

Ronnie Wood is a prolific painter and does a lot of guitar themed art.

What a great thread! Love seeing the art y’all have shared. Here is my contribution to playable art. And it changes depending on what I’m playing at the time
