I don't know which affect/effect to use. ha ha. I may be jumping the gun, but I'm set to meet a FBM seller at 11am to pick up this baby: Price is less than half of a pre-owned Epi LPC. Can't complain. I just hope the seller doesn't flake on me when she realizes her price is a bit low. ha ha I'm gonna have to run to Harbor Freight to pick up some moving blankets to protect these guitars on the trip home. So I'm off today. Wife and kids have one more day of remote learning/teaching. I'm gonna get some fresh air and drive around solo. There's a wonderful Vietnamese shop with the best banh mi sandwiches I've ever had ... buy 5 get 1 free. So I'll bring home 6 banh mi sammiches ... and stuff myself silly. I love those sammiches, but the French baguette bread is a killer on the carbs. Two of those sammiches, and I won't be able to move.
About $150-200 with case is fair for these - they're not a high dollar guitar, price is probably not too low? Looks great!
That’s a nice guitar! I hope you close the deal. It’s not over until the guitar sings. Send us a review and more pics.
Good luck on the safari. Wish I was doin that today... Missed a fender super strat this morning for $250. With the fancy top. And was gone in a flash .
I've got one of those that's a purple quilt burst. It's great. Not much of a difference between that and an Epi Standard, but I did change the pickups to a set of Guitar Madness buckers.
Just got back from snagging it. It's a nice one. Almost full thickness. Has some nice weight. It'll cover my LP itch for a bit ... or until I find the perfect LP at the perfect price. I wish I had an amp to play through. I'll give a full review when I get home this weekend.
Those silver top hat knobs make it look really sharp! I hope you enjoy it as much as the banh mi grub!
Interesting. I was thinking the silver top hat knobs look out of place against all that gold hardware everywhere else.
How did I miss that one?!? I don’t know if I like you coming down here to my neck of the woods and grabbing up all the good guitars! LOL Congrats! That’s a good looking guitar. I only have one one Jay Turser. It’s an acoustic I got at SGW for next to nothing, but I really like it. I hope you like the LP just as much!
