Ah, that makes sense. That must be why I like the neck pickup on a strat so much.

Love P90's. They put them in the 03 Melody maker. sort of like having a Junior except with out a wraptail.

I prefer wrap-around too. Not a fan of the Tune-O-Matic. They always seem to buzz and it drives me nuts. I consider them inferior.

I love the minimalism of the wraparound, but I wasn't going to spit on this one. Worst comes to worst, I'll get a better bridge.

Don't say cheaper, just say 'less expensive to provide' a single wraptail. Never heard a rattle on my 6120 TOM bridge. Epi ones have a wire that rattles.

Very common to have the 22nd fret overhang slightly. Easy way to turn a 21 fret into a 22 fret leaving neck pocket & PU's the same.

Love me some p90 coolness. I just put this together from parts. Offset waist, Fender bridge and generic Fender like neck. Gonna call her the Bloody Bastich jr.

Just bought this one last week myself. This is the ad picture I haven't had time to even snap pictures but I have played it for a few hours. 2020 Sparkling Burgundy.

Righto. I've just never noticed it on an Epiphone.

Those are soooo nice ! I had a black 2011 Epiphone 50th Anniversary '61 SG Reissue for some times. I really really wanted to keep it. Tone was testicular ! Their bridge P90 being so far from the bride gives it a really meaty tone. But I couldn't find a way to agree with its spaghetti neck shape. Doubled my net selling it, that was OK.

How's the neck on yours ?

In 2012 Fender made a Modern Player Jaguar that was nearly identical with what you assembled. Perhaps that was what you modeled yours on. They were red, like yours, or a '54-looking burst that was just black around the edges and amber-tinted clear over everything. It had a Jag neck, but otherwise just like yours. GC/MF sold them for $399.

Body was given to me by my brother who got it out of a storage container he bought. Came with the bridge on it. Neck I had hanging around for several years. Don't know what it might have come off of. Stuck on the p90s from my parts bin, stuck on some old strat knobs, gave her a setup and away she went. She's a nasty sounding mix match of parts. She a screamer... in a good way.
