I started the day with a banana, apple, beetroot and spinach smoothie made with almond milk, lol. First thing I'll run out of is fresh fruit and veg but I started stocking up for the reckoning awhiles back so have enough tinned legumes, rice and pasta plus toiletries to last a bit. Would rather not have to take another trip to supermarket, I went beginning of week, only time I've left house since last Friday and I was the only one wearing a facemask and people were looking at me as if I was crazy and not sticking to the social distancing thing, had people sidling up to within two feet or so of me. That's not even the worst of it, I had someone walking towards me in the street stop in front of me, put a finger over one nostril and blow the contents of his beak onto the pavement at my feet. Stuff like this is why we are not allowed firearms in this country.

It is not a hunk of meat lovingly smoked all day, but I did get some baking in. Rather than go out to the grocery and expose myself to society's germs, I decided to make my bread from scratch. Two loaves of honey-wheat and one peasant round loaf of rye with caraway seeds.

Reckon that caraway'd also make a fine vessel upon which to purvey some BBQ meat, as well!
