I like Tequila Sunrise and the HSS is nice and with its big frets and 12” inch fretboard on all satin neck, it could be a metal shredder

The Aged Candy Apple Red has a really nice look to it!

Price in euro seems high. I bought a Fender Nashville for 1100 cdn, now 1326 cdn by the 990 euros it lists there. Do you pay more for Fender products there?

Everything in euro is very expensive.

The worst is for essential things. Where I live, the cost of housing, transportation, food, utilities, insurances has been multiplied by 6 in twenty years (while most wages have not followed that rise and have, at best, stagnated). That's why movements such as the Yellow Vests appear every now and then.

I don't know if it's the same in North America.

They said about $911 in the USA so the Euro price is definitely higher.

Price is crazy again. Glad I picked up my ordinary player strat for around €600 a year ago.

Yep, It looks like these are replacing what was left of the Deluxe series, which consists of the Deluxe Roadhouse Strat, Deluxe HSS Strat, Deluxe Nashville Tele, and Deluxe Tele Thinline. And, it looks like the only real difference besides the new colors is the new "Player" noiseless pickups (the Deluxe series used Vintage Noiseless ones) and no more Strat with a preamp with the 6 position boost as on the Roadhouse, at least that wasn't mentioned.

I loved the idea of a boost and preamp as on the Roadhouse, but it got terrible reviews.

I had both the one with Texas Specials and the one with the Vintage Noiseless pickups, and it actually worked very well in both, but I liked them better without the preamp on, because it was like a compressor and robbed the guitar of its dynamics

That’s terrible! It robbed the dynamics?

    I guess too much wiring.

It’s like my deluxe reverb (and or amps with that and vibrato or built in effects) which sounds compressed and lifeless compared to a simple tweed deluxe which has no reverb and is dynamic and wide open.

Not completely, but enough so that I didn't like it. I'm sure the Clapton Strat is the same way, or active pickups like EMGs. All preamps/compressors do that to some extent, that's why I don't ever use a compressor. Overdrive pedals have enough compression, but not so much that they kill the dynamics
