That is a great deal. That's the price I paid for a used one (head only) and it was a great deal at the time. I had the Boutique and the Rock and they do respond like a tube amp .. because they are I think the Boutique is the best of the lot. Cleans are crazy beautiful and gain gets from mild OD to full on meaty roaring distortion. It's modeled after a Dumble as I recall. The only negative is they don't have an effect loop.
@snivlem Man am I glad YOU'RE back!! You have quite the knack for sniffing out some really great deals! The vendors should compensate you! Due to your diligence I made my first purchase at Musician's Friend a couple years back and got some gigbags for a great price! I couldn't pass up the Vox deal and now have made my first Sweetwater purchase! I clawed out my insides hemming and hawing about an Adorama deal you posted about, but didn't give in to that or another deal I saw on same site soon afterwards. But I wish I HAD since I would have paid it off by now, and would have a sweet Duo-Sonic! Thanks, and Keep Up The Good Work!
