I've seen him do a lot of stupid S**t before, but this takes the cake. It's nice to know that he makes so much from his stupid YouTube videos that he can afford to destroy a nice Goldtop. I'll never watch him again.
Something about that guy rubbed me the wrong way the first time I watched a video of his. I can't put my finger on it. I never went back. This video makes me feel like that instinct was accurate.
I was going to share this one, but I didn't want to offend any sensibilities. I enjoyed the parody, to be honest haha
Makes real rednecks look bad.
One of my least favorite YouTube guitar personalities. His results for every comparison test - the most expensive Fender wins.
Ridiculous. He shouldn't be allowed to own a guitar.
I've never had a strong opinion about this person, good/bad/ more indifferent. After this short video journey extremely insulting and nasty to all Southerners, weapons enthusiasts, and all those who desire a Gibson, who cannot afford one, to see one destroyed for absolutely no reason, I'll make it a permanent pass.
Doubt it's a real Gibson. He buys cheap knockoffs for his videos sometimes. I do hate it when YouTubers destroy things that people could have used.
Canadians have a rough time with southern accents apparently.
Darrell Braun - Goober
That is all.
People destroy stuff for entertainment value all the time. People waste money instead of giving it away all the time. I look around my house and see a lot of waste/unnecessary stuff, so I am not qualified to pass judgment on Darrell.
I'm sure he enjoyed it
That was dumb on so many levels - what a tool!
Darrell is Canadian, and I believe in Canada they have their own sort of "redneck". He is likely one himself, since he apparently owns several firearms, and has access to rural acreage. The case is obviously a Gibson, but the guitar most certainly is not (probably a Harley Benton, or Oscar Schmidt, or something like that). For all we know, the guitar was flooded, had a twisted neck, or was for some other reason it was not worth the cost of repairs. It's very likely that an unplayable guitar is what inspired this video, not any sort of disdain for Southerners.
The real disturbing thing is the access to guns, why does anyone have any is beyond my comprehension, apart from that it's just a parody, if someone wants to buy a guitar just to use it in the fireplace free to do it, no reason to get so angry
Somebody needs to get the guitar out of it's misery and bust it over that dude's head..
That was a crappy video. I never understand videos where people destroy things like this. I'm also a big watch guy and always cringe when I see a wealthy dude "flex" and put a Rolex in a cup and pour champagne on it. So stupid in my opinion.
Does this guy always talk like Foghorn Leghorn?
For the next video, he should get a 4x12 cabinet, pack it with tannerite, and set it off. And he should put some eBay Marshall logos on it to really get the sensitive types to "Reeeeee!"
How many pounds do you think a 4x12 will hold? 20? 50? Either way...
