I am really digging this little guitar...I dropped a new MIM trem in ..perfect fit...new single ply guard..pots switch...and Kens custom strat pick ups set on the way...big difference in bottom end with this trem more resonant to...good mod for these.

All you need now is a thin 1-ply 50s style parchment pickguard to complete the look! The beveled thick one doesnt look right on a 50s Strat....

    Looking great @Strato67

So you got the complete MIM tremolo replacement that has a zinc block with a PW-29 stamp in it, correct?

I have one of these blocks that came out of a Classic Player strat and was thinking of using it, but I'm concerned about the angle that it holds the trem arm. Instead of going straight up, the one that I have has a tilt to the trem hole which results in the arm being raised higher from the guitar. I hope that makes sense.

Does your arm sit higher off the guitar than it used to before the mod?

I bought the correct arm...the angle is fine...they can be bent down to ..take it out to bend it though.
