The sound isn't great, but I've never seen him play a Strat before, or Stills playing a V, or Graham playing a B3. I know he plays piano very well, but I can only recall ever hearing it on his records. I think in concert I've always only seen him playing guitar. And I liked Neil more when he played his White Falcon with CSNY in concert

That was absolutely Great.
Being born in Salford England, home of the Hollies, when I was growing up I could not get my head around why Nashy left the group.
Seeing and hearing this I now finally know what the attraction was.

I hope you aren't saying that you never heard CSN or CSNY before. Here's one of Graham's songs from the first album he and Crosby did as a duo. We have Dave Mason on electric lead guitar here.
And if you don't know his first solo album Songs For Beginners, you should listen to it on YT or on a streaming service.

Hi Doug, Yes I was aware of CSN but I suppose I was mistakenly mad at Graham for leaving the Hollies. They were a local group and I saw them a lot in the clubs around Manchester. I thought they would become as big as the Beatles.
I love Graham, and I think it's too bad that he is overshadowed by the other three. CSN (and CSNY) would NOT have been the same without his high harmonies, and he's a very good songwriter too. I love his first solo album from the early 70s, Songs For Beginners. I just Googled why he left the Hollies, and apparently he wanted to do more intellectual and topical songs than the pop music that the Hollies made, and, when he met Stills and Crosby when on tour with the Hollies in '68, at Joni Mitchell's house in Laurel Canyon, that was it. He was smitten by them, and by Joni, who he had a romantic relationship with. He said he hated leaving his friends, and it damaged his friendship with Allan Clarke for many years, but they recently recorded a new album together, which I'll have to look for on YT.
