I'm not sure I would pick up a guitar with a fraudulent decal at any price. Maybe free.
Sells for $700??
"Its basically the Fender Player HSS, but they did a prototype run with Squier on the headstock for whatever reason. Super rare, dude. From the Custom Shop... NAMM exclusive... Leo's lost design..."
I never knew that....
This one is more of just a chuckle:
Another good one. A $600 "Limited Run" Affinity, NO LOWBALLING......
I could be wrong, but didn't all VM Teles have string through body bridges?
It says that it's a partscaster. Affinity with a VM neck?
Neck may well be a VM, but to me it makes more sense that the body would define the model.
Wow, the more you look, the more you find crap. I don't think I'd take it for $50.
No kidding. It's like one of those puzzles where you have to find 10 things wrong with the picture.
Although I definitely want to get some Washburn neck plates to screw onto the front of all my guitars.
"I am asking for 500$ because I would need profit from all of the work I have put into it..."
Putting work into something means that work NEEDS to pay off in the form of equal return or profit based upon the desire of the investor?
This changes the face of the entire field of economics completely.
But... But it has elenco pickups!
I would take $50 for that.
This looks like the work of a tweaker. Especially the profit part. His connection won't touch it with somebody else's ten foot pole so he's trying to sell it on the open market. Needs some coin to buy some more . . . um, "stuff."
Next time I go by this one pawn shop in town, they have an Epi LP that the previous "owner" modded. Paint the peg head black, use a gold paint marker to write "Gibson" on the front, switch the pickups to Strat single coil with adaptor rings. The d00d actually wants $450 USD 'cause it's a Gibson. Okay, the font work looks great and it was in gold but hey, cut down that Epi headstock to an open book look before trying to scam with it.
The sad part is, it plays just incredible. Good frets, low action. If I just knew the Epi inlay still existed under that paint . . .
$300 worth of work...
aaaaaaaahhh! my eyes! ....can't...unsee...
