That’s nice. I love my Strat with a brass block.

I wish someplace made one for my 2012 Squier Standard Strat

Is that the thin 2 point trem? I think Killer Guitar Components make one, but you'll end up paying an arm and a leg for one.

Yes it’s the thin two point trem. Do you know what one from KGC I need? I want a brass block.

I didn't see one in their reverb shop currently. I'd reach out to them and ask if they can make you one. I imagine it isn't one of their commonly ordered blocks, but I do know they can do it.

Thanks I looked on the Reverb site they had an import/mex combo with no measurements. It was $70 that includes shipping. Is that one it?

Musiclily does! Drops right in and you can still use the rear cover. I assume you have the 1 5/8" body but they make them for the 1 3/4" body ones too. I've gotten both for about $25 - $30 each. Very well made. You can find the one you need on Amazon and eBay at least or email them: [email protected]

Bought another for my vm, the only thing I had to do differently was drill the trem hole for the bigger whammy bar thread, I also had to drill the hole on the plate slightly bigger as it didn't quite line up with the hole in the block. I have found you can drill the hole in the brass and then screw the bar in and it cuts a new thread.

  13. I put one of these in my last build. It was a smidge too tall, & I did have to shave off a few mm's. Very good quality.

\\Kevin in the UK does/will. I've bought 12 or so block from Kevin in both steel/brass. Perfect fit. And I am in the USA. Well worth the cost of shipping. He's kevinh3324 on eBay.

If you can get one, the KGC stuff is awesome. Here's my review from last year on the Squier 2 point replacement block:
