It's a Wards airline radio. The American 5 or 6. They run all tubes in series so no filament transfomer .
Has phone in, dual speakers. Point to point wiring...so simple, And the best part is it works

It's got nothing on some of my ham radio stuff. 3000v DC on the plate
The tube transmitters usually have 900v dc. Ive touched it before. Doesn't fell nice. The 3kv is on the 1500w amplifiers. They usually explode fingers from what I've heard. I don't work on them much to say the least. But any of these can kill . The right amount of current and voltage interrupts or clamps the heart.

Naw it's just 120v . On some the chassis was rumored to be live. I'm just going to put it on my radio shelf anyway. I'm listening to it now but after that I probably won't ever plug it in.

The knobs are plastic. The front is bakelite. Definitely not walking in the shop barefoot. Haha

That's pretty awesome. Great job cleaning it up too. I bet it sounds other-worldly.

For am with 2 speakers, it's pretty good. Not alot of choices for radio here.
