I was doing a bit of reading on Blackguard Teles recently and have come across mention that they wired a bit differently than the standard Tele. Does anyone have a copy of the wiring diagram and an explanation of what the differences do?
    Thanks!

There was more than one wiring schematic in the blackguard era.

The 53 wiring is basically position 1: bridge, volume and tone
Position 2: neck, volume and tone
Position 3 neck, fixed tone, bassy.

That intregues me, I've always thought the neck pup on Teles was always a little weak? Maybe 'limp' would be a better word? How much bassy is the neck pup with this wiring set-up?

Well, the broadcaster was used early on as as an electric bass. No different than the 53. Did it make a good bass? Not really. But in a world before the electric bass was a thing, definitely. The esquire, although a bridge pickup, also got a bassy position.
