My favourite guitar is a black "MIJ" circa 1984 Squier Bullet Contemporary HST with only a bridge humbucker. Plywood Tele style "sharp point" body noticeably light, Amazing Strat style maple neck, wood blocked wammy bridge,( hardtail config ), flatwound strings 048,038, 028,017,013,010. Best of all a DiMarzio Super Distortion humbucker paired with a fanatastic Canadian Guitar Nut- Black Tusq XL 42mm Flat Bottom PT-5042-00. Pickup almost in contact with strings when fretted at 21 minimal 1/16' probably. The guitar becomes "alive" at that point. You get that funky Jimmy Page "psychedelic pick flick sound." The neck logo has a unique silver star with a reversed "1" under the word "Bullet." The silver star paint appeared metallic flake style. Neck plate serial E + 6 digits.
