Anyone can identify this guitar?
Looks like my Bullet ?
Surf Green FSR Squier Bullet Telecaster, 2019/2020 model, has the new Squier logo.....
Hahaha ... is he even plugged in and playing?
I seriously doubt if that guitar was connected to anything in that video.
That's s great spot. I believe that Billy's buddy Mike "Squier" Henderson flipped him..............
Doesn't look like it. Probably a Squier promo!
I remember that video, and Orianthi's odd choices in part of her solo. I've listened a few times and I just can't think it was intentional.
Regardless of guitars; That riff should likely belong in the iconic riffs thread. Yeah!
I'd love to see more Squier-sponsored pros out there.
Just a prop for the video. Not what was used in recording and Billy didn't actually play on the recording with that guitar or any other. If you see Billy playing a Squier at a ZZ concert, then that would be something.
With no shortage of guitars at his disposal, one genuinely wonders why this one was chosen for the video shoot.
They paid Billy to come shoot this video. He probably did not bring any instruments to the shoot and they scrounged for props...
He was not there as ZZTop, he was there as Reverend Billy.
Casual Free publicity for squier? Maybe if they would have tape the squier logo we would be wondering which special one of the kind tele was this
You gotta say that they didn't hide the Squier logo, they zoomed right in flew the flag with pride. Next vid the Rev will be playing his new surf green Bullet thru a Monoprice 15. Stay tuned..........
and it will sound like a blackguard and a blues breaker
Have any of you guys ever seen his Rig Rundown from PG? He has a separate 31-band EQ set for every guitar he uses so that it sounds like Pearly Gates through his rig. He switches guitars, his tech switches which EQ is active. LOL
..................all while standing in front of a wall of Magnatone amps. ZZ played Indian Ranch a couple of summers ago, stayed on for quite a while, played 'em all and then some. When the show is over, it's over. The crowd was calling for an encore................but the beards were long bleepin' gone.
I've seen another clip of Billy playing a Squier Standard Tele, so this doesn't surprise me much.
Many players have used guitar props in videos and photos, for decades starting with Robert Johnson.
I've seen clips of Billy playing lowly Gibson Melody Makers too
