How does one get a score on a beat up Affinity? When the beat up Affinity has the Seymour Duncan Everything Axe pickup set, Sperzel tuners, graphite saddles, graphite string trees and is marked at $149. That's how. Needs a refin and a setup, otherwise good to go.

Hell yeah! Nice score Lonn. I've bought my fair share guitars just for the parts. I would slap in some stock parts, flip it and keep the good stuff for free and use them later.

I love finding upgraded squiers at GC. I picked up a CV thinline tele with upgraded bridge and jack, 4 way, and possibly upgraded pickups recently for $300.

Nice grab. Those parts are worth more. Well the PG alone I would guess.

Not sure if this point. I picked up a couple more guitars last night that are going to require all my attention for the near future. This one will probably just sit until I figure out what to do with it.

You’ll make quite a profit parting it out and returning to stock!

    Nice!
Keep everything. Strip the body down and paint it Sonic Blue. Reassemble, and enjoy.

Something like that is probably what will happen sometime in the future. I’m thinking silver though with a silver aluminum pick guard.

...and the reason the guard's gotta go is that the geet is black and blue. Looks like a bruise...

Awesome score! I probably wouldn't refinish it though, it's got sort of a perfect greasy natural worn-in look (which, to me, is way cooler than any sorta "relic'ing" would ever be). Use it to cover "Maggot Brain" in front of a drunken 1:45am bar audience.

Most of the back looks like that sanded spot on front.
