Amp of Choice for Your Squier Telecaster

I'm in the market for a new amp for my tele. What are forum members using for playing at home? I don't want a large amp or high wattage but something that get some nice tones.

I was looking at the Roland Blues Cube, but that seems pricey for a ss amp. Looking forward to recommendations. Thanks!

As @Eddie said Champions are good ..... Fender Mustang LT 25 or 50 are great choices if you want a bit more variety .

I have an original blues cube that I bought here from frankthedog. Awesome amp if you can find a used one reasonably priced. I also have a Monoprice 15W tube amp that I use and like very much. This is a hard question as there are so many choices. Do some research and go to your local music shop and play thru some is my best advice. I just looked and Monoprice has their 5 watt tube amp on sale 20% off with free shipping. I had one and it was pretty impressive for a 5 watt amp (read the reviews), sold it because I already had the 15 watt and was downsizing.

Just bought an Fender Mustang LT25 . Great amp for in home use . Some of the best clean's i have heard .

Over the last several years I've had a few different Roland Cubes, several different Blackstars, a few Voxes, Fender Vibro Champ XD, Champion 20 and Mustang 1 V2, and the Katana Mini and 50, and the amps that I've kept are the Katana Mini, the Fender Mustang LT25, and the Yamaha THR10C.

Big upvote for the Champion 40. For me, at least, all my single coils sound great with that amp.

However, the Monoprice 5W Mighty Mini gets along remarkably well with my Bullet Tele. Not that the 15W is a bad thing.

Fender LT 25, or the mono price five watt, lately I’ve been leaning towards the mono price. Just a great sound! remember it takes some time to break in the speaker.

Some great recommendations! Didn't have the monoprice on my radar. Also like the Spark option. Roland Cube is on my short list.

I decided against the Blues Cube (for now ) because I wanted something with a smaller footprint. Not to mention pricey for a ss.

I have the Spark as well, and it is my most used amp at home. Sounds awesome at low volumes, and like @IronSchef said, it’s a whole lot more than just an amp. It’s also a learning tool and a great Bluetooth speaker. And it can get pretty loud as well.

Positive Grid Spark 40: Do you like this amp after having it a while?

Morning all. I know any of you have posted on a thread on this amp when you acquired it. I am curious as to how you like it after having it for a few months and how it is holding up? They are on sale on the positive grid site. I have always considered buying one but never pulled the trigger.

Check your local listings Craigslist or Facebook for any of the Fender modeling amps, Mustang, GT, LT, etc ... usually plentiful

Your question focusing on your guitar being a Tele. If your choice of a Tele is because a basic Tele is known for it clarity and "clean" tones, then most any Fender amp will be a good match.

If, OTOH, your Tele is not the standard type, with single coil PUPS, or if you chose it for, say, its looks, or some reason other than its classic clean tones, than mentioning the type of music you wish to play would make it more likely that the answers are actually meaningful to YOU and not just a listing of amps various forum members themselves enjoy.

I'm all over the map when it comes to music, but mostly into classic rock and blues. I have a CV 50's Tele in Sonic Blue on order (told it was discontinued, but Fender's system accepted the order. Awaiting further details). I agree about Fender amp clean tones. I'm trying to find a happy medium of not having a large footprint or high wattage but still have a nice sound.

Many may think me mad here, but the BEST sound for classic rock and blues I ever got with a Tele was from a Marshall 900 combo.

I like my Vox Pathfinder 15R with either of my two Telecasters. It may end up being the last amp I keep if I ever sell off my low watt tube amps, 12" cabinets, and pedals.

The Blues Jr. is great for a Telecaster, if you're ramping up. Really like the reverb, and you can get great tone at moderate volume. Too much amp for me now.
