I might be looking at this through green and gold colored glasses ... but dude is REALLY good hosting! I’ve only seen the first two nights so far - interesting that the winner BOTH nights just happened to be a student @ UC Berkeley — A-Rog has managed to get in a “Go Bears!” Both nights, lol
I'm a Packers fan, too. He's held his own quite well. Not the most natural host, a little on the laid back side, but he's nailing the clues. Not coming off at all like a dumb jock.
I' m not a Packers fan, and I think he is doing great. He seems relaxed and is handling the clues just fine.He doesn't distract from the game.
Dyslexia........at first glance I thought it said A Hog Ro(a)sting Jeopardy......no I haven't been smoking.
Full disclosure: family is from WI, so I might be biased. He seems pretty good, not so great that I'd want him to be a permanent host (probably couldn't make it work schedule-wise anyway) but not bad at all.
He's holding his own. Quality pipes. Competent. Just too deadpan for my liking. A little more Wink Martindale/Ron Burgundy keeps things moving for me. Being wary of attempting the enunciation "Wolfgang Amadeus" is disconcerting. I like him, but not up to the other guests overall quality thus far, IMO.
The only two guest hosts I didn't care for are Katey Couric and Dr. Oz. I thought Mike Richards was the best so far.
I agree with this. Oz was very obnoxious. I wouldn't be mad if Mike Richards was the permanent host after this guest host thing is done, I thought he was outstanding.
I saw that there was a petition for LeVar Burton to be the new host of Jeopardy. In my opinion, he would be an excellent choice.
