The fretboard looks almost unfinished, Aren’t MIM standard necks usually glossy? Wonder what was done to it to get it looking that ‘road worn’

Thanks Lonn. Just looked it up and was drying my tears.
Is it still a good buy at $85 based on it's condition and would my CV 50s Tele tuners fit without needing new holes?
You'll need conversion bushings to fit the 10mm holes, and you'll have to drill holes to screw down the CV tuners, but they should work.

Looks like a good neck. I agree it's not a road warn. But that's a good deal for a STD MIM neck.

I believe this is a 1st yr Fender Road Worn '08. The nuckelhead that owned it removed the Mex decal off the headstock. The neck is ambered and "worn" in strategic areas. Headstock walnut plug is solid, adjusts from butt end. DSCN5400.JPG DSCN5399.JPG DSCN5402.JPG DSCN5401.JPG
