That is actually a very lovely instrument, and in pretty darn good condition too.

Those are OK guitars. Not awesome, not terrible. Middle of the road quality but they sure look cool.

that is so cool... the color makes it... a lot of metal guitars are black this is a fun find.. especially if you don't have a lot of pointy guitars... i like the bridge system better than a wraparound thingy... this may just start you on pointy guitar journey..

Maybe it's the Southern Comfort I'm drinking, but that looks kinda small for a Destroyer

It's not the Southern Comfort. :)

The ones I fantasized about in the '80s looked like this:

These are the ones you are more likely to see in fire engine red metallic or cherry sunburst. The smaller ones are also very nice and there are the iterations of their X-Series line.

I too see that this one sold, but it wasn’t me that bought it. @Lonn saved me from myself. Besides, from what I’ve read Ibby’s tend to have thin shredder necks, my arthritis simply cannot abide thin necked guitars. As I’ve mentioned in other threads, I’ve become smitten with a few of the PRS SE’s with the Wide/Fat necks and 22-frets, like the ZM in my avatar.
