That's some kind of sweet looking. About 1980 I was in a pawn shop and picked up this Goya 12 string - and played really great. I looked inside it and saw that the inner tag said Goya by Martin Guitars - you had to look in the sound hole to see it and it was abit faded. I guess the shop missed that as I picked it up for $65. I'll have to keep my eyes open for one of these - hows the tone without an amp (looks like tone sliders on the body). Price range?
Man, $65! I didn't know Martin made Goyas. The Godin A12 goes for around $700 new I think. The tone unplugged is kind of dulcimer or mandolin-like. Guess that'd be the best way to describe it. There are resonator vanes inside the body apparently. It's loud enough to practice with without an amp. The neck is unbelievable. The action is low without buzzing and it's as easy to do bar chords as a 6 string. I'm amazed that Godin can build a quality guitar like this in North America at this price.
