Wine Red CV Telecaster Thinline.

Discussion in 'Squier Telecasters' started by Las Palmas Norte, Dec 11, 2019.

  1. I ran across this in an on-line ad. It was described as a "Red Wine" CV Thinline Telecaster.
I've only ever seen the regular brown body mahogany we all know. I didn't see a serial number. If find the ad again, I'll see if I can get one.

The regular CV Thinline and the "Wine Red" CV Tele.

Anyone seen know anything about this one? I'm curious.

That was a limited edition FSR colour for Long & McQuade

500 is insane, 350-400 would be fair....

The non-FSRs go for about 300 USD around here. Not sure I'd pay an extra $78 premium for the special color.

IMG_20190922_142445451.jpg I got my Mahogany for $230 delivered.

It's a pretty sweet guitar. I just took it out last night to play it again and it was buzz city. Had to adjust the truss rod. We'll see if that took when I get home today.

If you think it is worth it then it is. I personally wouldn't pay that much unless I was in love with it.

I did pay $401 delivered after tax and everything for my Olympic White/Gold Anodized CV50s Strat with Texas Specials and Emerson wiring and a 1980s Fender hard case. Which is top dollar imo. So it's in the end worth what someone will pay for it.

  9. Less likely to happen at the retail level, which this is. Tom Lee Music.

It's not new, but most stores are not usually willing to haggle, even on used items anymore.

  14. You never really know until you ask, but I'm 95% certain they won't budge.
I'll be in the area shortly after Xmas and my odds may improve then, if it's still around.
