This has been coming for some time. I had to modify the body with a router, to accept the full size lipstick pickups. The pickguard had to be modified as well.
The Squier neck fits it well, so I will use it.
I bought this from a forum member as a 2007 India VM...I bought it for the cedar body. As it turns out, it is basswood and the body itself only weighs 2.75 lbs.
    Should be interesting.

No. That cedar will be natural from now on. This is probably the only non-cedar VM from India that was ever built.

It's probably an Indonesian VM body....

The neck was India, but the body must have been switched.
I will also have to use a mini pot for volume as the pickup invades its space.
