What do you prefer?
Here's the guitar.
Rosewood for sure, the stock SE necks are great - don't see a need to change a neck just for looks....
It is a nice neck but I have a '91 E series maple neck that is also very nice. It would come off of this guitar. I think the rosewood would look pretty good with the red.
And good eye BTW. You knew the model just by the body shot!
I rest my case.
Mine has rosewood, have to admit though that I prefer the clean look of maple which my other strats have, but the Rosewood on the SE give it a look and feel of a more expensively built guitar..
White and rosewood are one of the best colour combos there are.....
Since you've already got your necks for the swap and think the rosewood would go the well with the Squier II red body, I say go for it!
I was saying rosewood until I found out the maple neck was a nice mik, I wanna change my vote to maple.
Either is awesome
White Strats are perfect with any combo
In my opinion it depends on whether you plan to play it or hang it on the wall.
If it is a player, then rosewood all the way.
... and paint the guitar black
Maple all the way baby! rose is ok to though
Maple...always on Strats and Teles.
Fingerboard has to be Rosewood or Ebony with genuine mother of pearl dot inlays - class!
