Today I am playing my 2004
Ibanez AF95-VLS Violin Sunburst, got it for sale on Reverb.
Nothing because my day went to fecal matter today at work.
Practicing some George Harrison solos for an upcoming acoustic Beatles show I'm playing in the next few weeks. A newish guitar for me - A LAG acoustic. Decent sound, great playability after a setup and humidification.
Love this headstock.
I dusted my 1972 Hagstrom Viking 1N and my 1972 Hagstrom Swede this morning, they are going to get it this weekend
Bullet Mustang after wrap; I did get in a little practice before call, though.
My Greg Bennett Les Paul! Love the resonance! Needs a Floyd Rose imo though!
A 2015 Ventura V24 Strat Clone with BWG pickups in it and aftermarket locking tuners.
It has an almost perfect 90 degree quartersawn neck. The only one like it that I know of from that line.
My teacher has me off the LP for a while. Not sure what he saw, but I have a strat out, with my Traditional Pro patiently waiting in the wings!
You will have to scroll down to the strats. I can't find even a youtube video. Mine is the purple burst by the way.
Nice Squier I’ve been playing my Epiphone Les Paul Standard
Nothing yet, but wait til the old bird leaves the hacienda this weekend
Marshall and Squier goodness.
It's usually my Strat, but today I've been playing a Tele that I have been modifying: I routed it for a neck humbucker, rewired it, cut the Bakelite guard to fit the humbucker, modified the bridge to have cut away sides, dulled down the poly finish and aged the metal parts to dull them down too.
It's a Dimarzio 36th Anniversary in the neck and a Seymour Duncan 'lil '59 'stacked' humbucker in the bridge. They work well together and it doesn't sound anything like my other (standard) Telecaster.
My fingers are sore now and I'm supposed to be going to an open mic tonight.
Closer view showing the modified bridge (so I don't catch my pick on the upstrokes):
Enjoying this with my Champ today
And now recording with this.
My Fender Tele '72 Thinline RI....because that's the only one in the living room right now....and a right nice guitar
Still honeymooning with this...
Kind of the cousin of mine. Just back from an open mic with my Tele.
Wow! … what's the neck radius on that beauty … 7½" ? Maybe camera angle?
