I am trying to learn a piece for the July challenge, so today I have taken my SE out its case, it has been months since I last played an electric guitar and now that I have I think I have to re-do the set up, or at least the string radius and heights...and my strap is the shitty, needing something else.

I have an orange strap that says "Department of Corrections" or something. Seemed like such a good idea at the time...

This one goes to work with me most days so that I can play it at lunch in the parking lot (I get there early so I can back-in park next to a shade tree).

Played a little on my Martin LX-1 before work, and in the morning I might plug up my Duo Sonic to play some nice relaxing melodies before bed. I’m really into these short necks... upload_2018-7-12_0-26-35.jpeg

I had the chance to play several today. Started of with a Strat, pulled the Sheraton for Travelling with the Wilsburies, grabbed a Nashville Tele to work up a solo for church, but ended up taking a Les Paul to practice.

I'm playing my recently acquired Hagstrom F-200. I swear, this guitar is greater than the sum of its parts. Great action, terrific neck, hot pickups, quality electronics and hardware, plus it looks cool. Did I mention that the sustain goes on forever and ever? However, if anyone knows where I can get a model C-50 case for it, I would appreciate it. I currently carry it around in a modified Strat/Tele case with the styrofoam routed out to make room for the headstock break angle. Hagstrom F200.jpg

Today, nothing fancy, likely my most affordable, and one of my best playing guitars, the Squier Bullet Strat my son gave me for Father's Day a few years ago …..plays and feels amazing......may replace pickups someday, but the guitar as a whole is a much better player than one would expect at that price point (well, actually, there was no price point for me, as it was a gift :) ) No pics to share, but it's yer basic HSS sunburst Bullet. I love it!!!

I'll be tinkering with this one tonight, just came in yesterday. 83 Smith era strat. Need to find an angled cable as well.

Reason I am posting this again, other than that's what a play most is that there is one of these on eBay right now with the KV prefix for like 170 shipped. These necks are nice and thin one piece and if you don't like chunky or bats.... I don't, it's for you.

They seem rare, I mean you do see them occasionally but not often.
