What line/series is this Gibson?

    Not sure what you mean....the name of the guitar model is listed in the description on the GC page.....

    There was the M2 series but this isn't that model....

    Yeah, the M2! That’s what I was talking about hahaha. I was just talking to a friend and I was trying to describe them because I couldn’t remember the name to google it, and I didn’t do it justice.

    Trying to identify gibsons on the used market makes my head hurt, more variation than there really should be IMO - but I realize there is a perfect guitar for everyone.

    In the link to the new one at GC in post #1, the upper edge of the body looks like it is relieved along the lines of an SG, but maybe that is a reflection. In the pic of the used one in bright red, I don't see that relieved edge, but the pic is not very close or detailed.

    The second one sure doesn't look like a Gibson, other than the head stock. Looks like an Asian aesthetic.

    There is one hanging at the local GC. Other than the fact that this one had the largest "slim taper" neck that I've ever encountered, it seems like a decent build.
