    6-6-6!
I don't pay much visual attention to how my Volume-Tone-Tone knobs are set while I am playing, but lately when I am putting my Strat back down, I see that they finish the 'session' set real close to 6-6-6. Sounds heavenly though.

What setting numbers do your knobs end up on?

Probably 8-ish, 9 to 7-ish (depending if I was last using the neck or bridge pickup), and 8-ish on middle...Honestly, though these are just guesstimates

0, 0. By habit, when I put a guitar down, I always spin to zero.

0, 0, here too...I only have two knobs (I always get the volume knob moved down one spot. When I'm playing, it's always 10, 10.

    Nuance? Never heard of it!

0-0-0 ..But that will change when I plug it in..
Then the settings will be whatever is required for the song..
I have difficulty understanding why anyone would have only one setting at all times..(Except when it's unplugged)..

I should add that I'm not aware of the numbers on the knobs..Never look at them..I play by ear, not numbers..

10 10 10 for most. I have a few teles that have the ice pick syndrome.I roll down the tone to knock down the brightness.

Before opening this thread, I saw at the right side of the title line: Replies 10. I hesitated ... I thought that was an average of the answers.

I’m with Papa on this one. I actually use these knobs :)
Right now sitting, it’s at 10, 6, 8 with switch on the bridge.

I have about a dozen Strats. Is there any one in particular you would be interested in.
And, I use different settings for different songs, so that just adds to the confusion here.

Changes as I play, replaces hundreds of dollars of pedals and I usually don't have the second tone knob.
