Saw GBV Friday night. They played 57 songs. A sung-along party but I only knew the words to less than half the songs.
I've watched a lot of those MC5 vids. The drummer loses a stick about 2 seconds into Rambling Rose. I'll watch this whole thing when I've got the tme. Thanks!

I’m listening to an album which came out a few weeks ago and went straight to number 1 in the UK album charts, called Hypersonic Missiles by Sam Fender. I’m a bit of a latecomer, but he’s really great. He’s from a town called North Shields, which is just 5 miles from me, and there’s a lot of issues relating to the local area in his music. He’s definitely got a bit of a Bruce Springsteen vibe about him (jangly but aggressive guitars, honky sax, working class problems). He’s a massive Newcastle United fan too.
@edchavez I heard those guys a while back now. I think I posted them on a thread entitled "small room playing" or something like that. Good stuff!
