A little Guthrie Trapp
A little Christmas music....
This … Frank Zappa (Apostrophe) is a distinct reminder of this time of year for me. I bought this LP new in '74, 44 years ago and still have the same LP.
As a young man I remember hopping on the hay wagon rides around town. Xmas carols, drinks, with folks on and off the tractor hauled hay wagon as we rolled thru town in the evening hours.
We'd stop at various house parties and move thru our small town into the late night. Laws these days would not allow for such happenings.
This morning I've got "confessin' the blues" playing on the CD player, so far I am well impressed with the choice of tracks on this album.
Just heard this classic Xmas rendition playing over the speakers at a fast food place and had to look it up. I think it's Philip Sayce on this wonderful guitar solo
A few good ole local (Vancouver Island) boys … The Bill Johnson Band.
Last time I spoke to Bill I mentioned a show from 20 years previous. He said ... ya, back when I with thin. I said … you're makin' more money now.

I can't get into Merle haggard unless it's being covered by the Dead:
That jogs the memory @AngelDeVille … I'm getting' old I guess. Cheers, Barrie.
