I've watched this thing 25 times and I'm still can't believe I just discovered it. Neil Young and DEVO doing the original version of My My Hey Hey...before Rust Never Sleeps was recorded.
That’s not a Gibson, but it is configured like a 125 (looks like a P90, not a CC). Note that the f-holes have electrician’s tape over them. Like these girls...
This was part of a movie Neil wrote and directed some years ago. DEVO appeared as nuclear waste workers.
I was reminded of an old album/performance that I had not even thought about for a long time. It is playing right now on the big screen, using what I believe is the original video without the laser effects. It doesn't translate to HD very well in places. Anyway, for your Sunday listening, can I suggest..... And no, I did not fall on my head again!
I’m listening to Greta Van Fleet’s new album - Anthem of the Peaceful Army. It’s hard to believe this is their first full length album. It sounds so developed and accomplished. They really are an outstanding ‘new’ rock band. The gigs they’ve played (and are playing over the next few weeks) in the U.K. have been London, Manchester, Birmingham. But last week they announced more U.K. dates in March, including a gig here in Newcastle - really pleased and excited. Got my tickets already. Anyway, I really love ‘You’re The One’ at the minute.
