Well, this doesn't look half bad:
I saw this one on a Thai site and I'm trying to stop myself from buying it:
Man, I just saw this:
Dem Japanese Squiers... Give me my '80s axes!
Oh, I'm back.
Currently wanting to find another Mini/Mikro type guitar.
I think I drooled a little there... Wow!
How about this one? Probably not everyone's cup of tea, but that grain looks interesting.
Looks like spalted maple
I'm currently gassing for an Epi ES-175. I noticed Thomann in Germany have some black ones in stock - I've never seen them anywhere else so I'm not sure if they're still making them or not. I'd also like a pearl white Deluxe Strat before they're all sold out here and maybe a CV Tele (I have the CVC Tele and a daphne blue Deluxe so those two are hard to justify)
I have got the gas bad for a LP since I don’t own one. Currently looking at a Samick Red Flame Top Avion AV-3 that is local. From what the dude is telling me it’s barely used and he wants $200 for it with a Gibson case. I go Friday to check it out.
One of these. Should be available next week sometime.
GASsing for brake work on my wife's car!
Mostly it's effects and amps right now.
I have some GAS for a Boss GT-1000. But, then I consider that I've got 6 or so old multi-effects units, cheap to mid-priced ones, sitting around here that I no longer use. I'd hate to spend $1K on yet another member of the multi-effects graveyard.
It might be better for me to invest in a Fender-ish tube head and a reactive load box. That would run about the same or a little more.
I'd also like to get an Origin Effects SlideRig.
However, I think my GAS money will end up going for "practical" stuff like new carpet, HVAC repairs and such. Most of last year's GAS money went in a hole in the ground, literally (a new septic tank system).
One down !
Im done for good!!! Just got this
you spelled "done for NOW" wrong
I get the feeling that photo doesn't really do the finish much justice. There is a really intense blue set of highlights on the right side and it makes me want to see what it looks like in person.
The blue highlight are the lights under the amp and also my pedal board has 2 rows of them. I turn them on when I play the blues.I have not yet buffed this guitar out. The finish was preserved by 9 years of gunk from the original owner. Gonna buff tonight! WOW that would make a good song title! HA! HA!
Since I only have one more $80 payment on my CV50's Tele I bought at the no money down no interest sale back in February, I started the process to find out what I need to do to order my dream guitar. Hopefully I don't have to put a lot of money up front for them to order me one.
Can't wait to have a NGD post for it!
Edit: I see the blue lights now. You had me for a second, but I will say that guitar cleaned up quite nicely.
Thanks man ! There are more pics on my IG if interested, it is @mattflowhd1
