I'm down to 6 amps now. So I don't feel quite so bad about the three new guitars over the past few months.

Actually I have gotten better about moving gear along that hasn't inspired me over several months.

Those black strats look great. I have zero guitars at the moment but I'm sure one will pop up eventually.

That green one in the last photo (all the LP style) looks a little rough.

It’s tough to reduce Guitars. I’m not good at selling them.
Maybe? Only keep the Guitars you have shirts to match?

I recently took ten guitars and ten amps to a small shop on consignment and it hardly made a dent and I still have that many more I could part with easily

Still have around 50 that I don't really want to part with

I'm down to 15 electrics and 1 acoustic. Not terrible. But I think I want to get down to under 10. That would be a good place to be. :)

But then again, I'm eyeing two new possible purchases. Oh man.

I really like black strats. Add some wear and I like them even more. I have the John Mayer tribute and the Road Warn 50s is amazing.

That's no joke. It is a project guitar. I need to sand the whole thing down and refinish it. But when I get to it and finish it I will finally have a P90 guitar.
I'm not in a huge hurry on that one. It's on my wish list to have a P90 guitar though.

Here is why I cant sell most of them. I'll go by picture here.

Telecasters: The Cedar caster and sunburst were built by my cousin as a gift to me and my daughter. Then there is the John 5. (enough said, it's a John 5 with Dimarzio's)

    Shredders:
Yamaha RGX. This was my first electric and my wife's aunt hand painted it rite before she died of cancer.
Peavey Predator. I could sell this one (Don't really want to but may anyway)
Dean Z 79. I could sell this but it's rare and so awesome for Metal

    Acoustics:
1941 Harmony Arch top. This was my Grandpa's guitar
Alverez Yari. This was my wife's Grandpa's guitar
Red burst acoustic. This was my wife's cousin Dan's guitar as a kid. He was one of my best friends for years. He got a blood clot and died at 30 yrs old. I sure miss him allot. It needs allot of work to actually play.
12 String Acoustic. I could sell it but It will come in handy in my studio sometime for sure.

    Strats:
Fender 50s Road Warn. Nope not selling
Squier Bullet. Bullet neck on an SE body and a set of Texas Specials. It is awesome and I wouldn't get much for it but it feels and plays just as good or better as most Fenders I've tried.
Partscaster John Mayer Tribute. Not selling
    Hand Strat. Not Selling
Daphne Partsaster. Best Strat I have ever played. Not selling
Robert Cray inca Strat.. Ummm no way I'm selling it.

    LP Style:
    Project LP. My P90 Project
Raven West Guitars. This was a gift from Bill MacKechnie of Anubis Spire
Epi Goldtop. Classic and so killer
Epi amber plus top. Looks lemdrop to me but so killer with Gibson Burstbuckers. just another killer LP.
Ibanez Artcore. Semi hallow body. Need this for the studio

Bass guitar ( not pictured) is needed for the studio.

The last one is a cort strat that I gave to my daughter. It is in the living room next to her piano. oh and she has an acoustic there too. Not mine to sell.

Wow.. that's twice my inventory... Wouldn't take long to get there if I got things I want. There are allot I'd like to get to add to the collection.
I hung up 2 so I have room for some more now.

Last time I counted I was around 40 guitars, and that was a couple years ago. I cant bring myself to sell any. I guess I'm a guitar hoarder. My dream it to own every guitar on the planet under $300.00. I have a closet full, no room under the bed, a few in the living room, probably 12 or so in the bedroom. But they're all my babies. Every one of them a little different and thats why I love them all.

That looks familiar. I'll have to show that pic to my wife, see it's not just me homey, it's totally normal to have that many guitars.

You guys make me look good.. I have a few under the bed and in cases and by the piano but most are rite here and I totally don't appear to be out of hand in comparison. Hahaha
I've been trying to rearrange a little to make it look cleaner in the studio room. I need to get another 2x12 for the Kustom head to sit on still. either that or pick up a Marshall valvestate and unload the Kustom.

Never buy a guitar rack and get rid of cases. I got one LP case, one versatile soft case and no rack. When I'm sitting at my amps, if I can't reach for a guitar without moving too much, I get rid of it. Really ! It might sound like the ultimate in laziness, but it works for me.

Tele is gone in that pic and the natural LP Special is in the last photo.

And this is all I need for 2 months at the summer cottage.

That Dean Explorer looks good enough to go to war with.. literally it doubles as a weapon!

Oh and no SG's in the collection?

I have somewhere near 50, it is hard to sell guitars now, unless you plan to nearly give them away.
