Recently upgraded my Squier II strat's trem to a MIA 'shorty' from Guitar Fetish. Some Dremel work to enlargen the cavity (found out it's solid wood, not ply!) and all is great, but I was wondering....
Bought new, my stock trem arm never had a plastic tip, just that thick piece of chrome rod. Now I have a thinner arm and a white plastic tip.
And an annoying seam on that tip from the molding process.

You guys sand that thing off, or leave it alone?

Maybe scrape/cut it off with a fresh razor blade/exacto knife?

    Crappie fishing is coming...
The only trem I use is a Bigsby on my P93. I don't use a trem on any of my Strats but if I did I would just lightly sand it off.
