The maple board with block inlays screams '70s. But, it's really just a Tele.

I like that. The block inlays are great. I'm guessing it will be pretty far out of my price range though. :(

Now that's just cool but I'm sure it'll be WAY out of my price range.

I didn't say that I didn't like the block inlays, only that it reminds me of 70s/80s Jazz Basses. But, aren't they just copying the copies? Hasn't Ibanez, among others, already done Teles with offset bodies? And why are companies leaking new gear before NAMM?

I dig it. Can I get one in shell pink?

My first reaction was negative. But when I asked myself why the only answer was that it was new a different.

Seen and judged by its own aesthetics I think it works. Kudos to its designer(s)!

I was thinking the same thing but I’d also so be interested in Tahitian Coral or a properly done Burgundy Mist.

I like the body shape. My dream Meteora would have a rosewood fretboard and dots, not blocks.

I'd love to see a Nashville meteora

Now ya see how differently we see things ??
One of my strongest dislikes is black blocks on a maple board..
Dunno why..Just don't like to see that..
    Otherwise it looks good..

Based on looks, I do not like it AT ALL.

Looks good to me, just tired of the BSB Blackguard style.

    It's definitely a mash-up. I can't decide if that's commendable or disappointing. It's a bit like taking a Lab and a Poodle and making a Labradoodle...

That’s a design that sticks to your ribs… Or should I say, sticks you in the ribs. ;)

Maybe it will grow on me. But right now...meh! Primarily because I'm not fond of the block inlays on a maple fretboard nor the pick guard shape.

It's different and sort-of radical looking. Not my taste, but I can appreciate the space-age design.
