As stated earlier, some people around here asked me pictures, pictures and pictures about my telecaster collection, so I posted some a week or so ago, in another thread (#1), like here

    http://www.squier-talk.com/threads/telecaster-promise-1.136228/

    And here are some more:

    72 Custom.jpg
A Vintage Modified '72 Custom that made me appreciate 11s... This guitar really sings with 11s.

    Affinity 98 Natural.jpg
A humble 70s looking 1998 Affinity in a natural finish. this one is still on my "have to decide" list. I will probably have it refinished (a previous owner took the shine off it and refinished it himself). I do like the colour, though...

    Affinity RW.jpg
My 2013 top load Affinity. This is a very playable guitar, but the only Squier tele I would purposely change the pickups of. They probably will have some others some time in the future.

    Another Affinity with Wilkinson Alnico.jpg
Another Affinity, pack and string-through this time (Indonesian). Actually I have three of these, one with the original pickups in my #1 post, and two with other pickups. This one has Alnico Wilkinsons (with a hotter bridge WVOB-version) and the third one has Ceramic Wilkinsons, but haven't tested them yet.
    CV With White pickguard.jpg
My second BSB Classic Vibe (look at that wood... isn't it fantastic?). This time with a white pickguard.

    Double Fat Tele.jpg
Double Fat Tele Deluxe... with jumbo frets!

    Joe Trohman.jpg
    Joe Trohman tele...

    Standard Barrel Saddles.jpg
2001 Standard Tele with barrel saddles... I'd like to find a 1999 Standard with maple fretboard in British Racing Green.

    Standard Metallic Black.jpg
Another, more recent, Standard with fantastic original pickups... In my ears the best stock single coils on a Squier tele.

    VM Custom II VB.jpg
Vintage Blonde dual P90 VM Custom II... this one got me hooked on P90s

Very nice collection of Squiers. I bet they all have their own distinct personality.

Smoly hokes, that's what I'm talkin' about.

I have 3 Tele's. One is currently down for the count because I broke the tabs when I pushed down too hard to put the wrong knob on a solid shaft post. Frak !!! I'm a moron !!!

All telecasters in this post were bought second hand. Most of them are completely original, which is my goal. In some cases I didn't have a real choice.

I learned how to do a basic setup and fret job, which helps a lot. Recently I've gotten into changing pickups and electronics where needed. Next on my list is learning how to replace a nut. I've got an old cheap neck lying around to test it on.

It took only a few years, to find al these gems. There are still quite a few on my wish list. My aim is to have all Squier tele models (not colours) from the Pro Tone series on if possible, and to add a few Fenders to the list (like the pretty unique Jim Adkins model). I'm in no rush.

That's why I started collecting them. I had an Affinity and a '69 Thinline, and then I wanted a dual humbucker, and then... and then.... and now, I have a whole herd of them...

I really like the tone of the HH Tele's. With some hot pickups, and an RRG harness ... the tone is absolutely thunderous.

But it's hard finding reasonably priced pre-owned Tele's. Not a fan of the twang ... so if I get a regular one, I'd install dual rails in there. :)

Best Squier Tele collection by far and a very nice tree.

How about a full picture of the tree by itself though.

I couldn't agree more... That's one of the reasons I like the humbucker and P90's. The Standards pickups are quite "raw" to my ears too. I never play the bridge pickup alone, it's either the neck or the neck and bridge combined.

I'll see if I can take one tomorrow... ;-) It's quite "leaf-less" now, and after the summer it will lose some of its branches.

You can quote me on this: you can never have too many telecasters.

That 98 Affinity looks great! Don’t change a thing. So does the BSB! Both are beautiful.
