White Pearl dual mini Chrome HB's, 5 way super switch for 5 usable positions, mim fat block trem w/bent steel saddles, fender usa string tree's, Vintage tuners - Sorry got carried away ! ! We don't see enough mini HB action around here !
Wow, if I got a deal like that I think I'd keep it bone stock and set it up perfectly, fret level and all, so I'd have a really nice $30 guitar. The best I've done so far is a really nice $105 guitar.
Pointy headstock + cheap guitar & a jig saw = Katana.. Good fun.. Youd have the first Katana with a pick gaurd and single coils..
Hey GuitarGuru76, if you decide to replace the nut be prepared to widen the slot. It is really thin and narrow, at least mine was. They are notorious for sharp fret ends but a little work can take care of that. I put some spare Tonerider pickups in mine along with new pots and switch and it's a great playing guitar. (pictured in my avatar) The original nut and a Graph Tech Tusq.
Probably would have been easier to put some fine sandpaper on a sheet of glass and then thin the GraphTech nut down to match the slot.
