will standard tele pickguards fit Squier tele guitars
Who deals them?
There are different variations of "fit". Most can be made to fit with a bit of filing or relocation of screw holes. Ideally a "drop in" or close, is what we all want. I have had luck with Stratosphere, who sells Squier guards, most of which are around $10. Welcome aboard.
I got a tele one and it fit perfect. Bang on.
Free shipping like 10 usd for guard. Took a few weeks though
There are a bunch on Amazon and they'll get here in a day or two. I've used plenty of these on Teles and Strats both:
my-oh-my-oh-my ohhhh! what a beauty , If only
What Squire Tele is that? Where is it made? What year?
Sold it last week so I cant check date but it was affinity, china, I wanna say 2014

good questions, make, model, construction site, screw holes.
All I know is I counted my screw hols and counted theirs. Looked close. Ended up perfect.
Why must it be so hard to find a simple 1-ply black pickguard with no pickup screwholes?!
Not sure if this works for ya
Thanks for the link, looks promising I'll build a cart and check if the shipping is reasonable...
I'm kinda shopping pickguards too and came across another that may work for ya.
Ya I should have mentioned that green one did fit perfect but had those damn holes. I was just gunna glue some screw heads in there.
I often shop GuitarFetish, have had reasonable results in the past, but I'd be curious to know how accurate a fit this pickup might be for a Squier. Given my guitar is virtually brand new I'm reluctant to be drilling holes in it if I can avoid it.
I have zero experience and am wondering the same thing.
I'm probably going to go with the StewMac option. The parts I need cost basically the same (GFS works out 50c cheaper), but StewMac postage is about $17 less than GuitarFetish.
Gf postage is nuts eh
